Properties: Yellow crystals from alcohol, mp 296-297° (dec). Insoluble in water. Very slightly sol in alcohol, ether, chloroform, glacial acetic acid.
Melting point: mp 296-297° (dec)
Use: Instead of diphenylamine in reactions with oxidizing agents. May be used as an oxidation-reduction indicator in strongly acid solns.
