Title: Neutral Spirits
Literature References: Distilled from suitable raw materials, is 95% ethanol (v/v) meaning that it is at least 190 proof when distilled. Used for blending with straight whisky (see Whisky) and for making gin, cordials, liqueurs and vodka. It may be made from grain or molasses or by redistillation of other beverages, such as brandy or rum, and is almost colorless and contains no extraneous flavoring.
