Properties: Fluffy white solid. Hygroscopic, converts back to tetrahydroxyboron on reaction with water. Sol in methanol, warm absolute ethanol, warm isopropyl alcohol. Sparingly sol in water. Insol in dimethylamine and methyl borate.
