Properties: Crystals from benzene + petr ether, mp 76.7°. Insoluble in water. One gram dissolves in 4 g of 95% alcohol, in 2 g acetone; also sol in ether, chloroform. uv max (0.004% in chloroform): 273, 328 nm (E ~1.00, ~0.395).
