The title oxime derivative was prepared by reaction of the microbial metabolite radiciclol (I) with O-[2-(2-oxo-1-pyrrolidinyl)ethyl]hydroxylamine (II), followed by separation of the resulting mixture of E/Z isomers by preparative HPLC.
