Properties: White, odorless, cryst powder. Sol in 27 parts water, 16 parts boiling water; insol in alcohol. The aq soln is practically neutral.
CAUTION: Potential symptoms of overexposure by ingestion are burning pain in throat, esophagus, stomach; vomiting; weak, irregular pulse; hypotension, cardiovascular collapse; headache, muscle cramps, tetany, convulsions, stupor, coma; kidney damage.
