Antimony Trichloride in Dichloroethane Solution |
Antimony Trichloride in Dichloroethane Solution Prepare a 22.0% w/v solution of antimony trichloride in dry 1,2-dichloroethane that has been purified by passing it down a column of silica gel and allow the solution to stand for 24 hours. To 100 mL add 2.5 mL of acetyl chloride and allow to stand for a further 24 hours before use.
