m-Cresol Purple Solution

m-Cresol Purple Solution Dissolve 0.1 g of m-cresol purple in 13 mL of 0.01m sodium hydroxide, dilute to 100 mL with water and mix.

Colour change pH 1.2 (red) to pH 2.8 (yellow); pH 7.4 (yellow) to pH 9.0 (purple).
