Dimethylaminobenzaldehyde Reagent

Dimethylaminobenzaldehyde Reagent Dissolve 0.5 g of 4-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde in a cooled mixture of 53 mL of sulfuric acid and 50 mL of water and add 0.5 mL of iron(iii) chloride solution R1.

Allow to stand for 2 hours before use.
