Complies with the following test.

Distillation range Not less than 95% distils between 98° and 100°.

2,2,4-Trimethylpentane used in spectrophotometry complies with the following additional test.

Transmittance Not less than 98% between 250 and 420 nm, Appendix II B, using water in the reference cell.
