Zinc Chloride VS ZnCl2 = 136.3

For a 0.05m solution Dissolve 6.82 g of zinc chloride, weighed with appropriate precautions, in water. If necessary, add 2m hydrochloric acid dropwise until the opalescence disappears and add sufficient water to produce 1000 mL.

Ascertain its exact concentration in the following manner. To 20 mL add 5 mL of 2m acetic acid and carry out the method for the complexometric titration of zinc, Appendix VIII D. Each mL of 0.1m disodium edetate VS is equivalent to 13.63 mg of ZnCl2.
