Dimidium Bromide-Sulfan Blue Mixed Solution Dimidium bromide-sulphan blue mixed solution Dissolve separately 0.5 g of dimidium bromide and 0.25 g of sulfan blue each in 30 mL of a hot mixture of 1 volume of absolute ethanol and 9 volumes of water, mix the two solutions and dilute to 250 mL with the same solvent mixture. Mix 20 mL of the resulting solution with a mixture of 20 mL of 2.5m sulfuric acid and 250 mL of water and dilute to 500 mL with water.
