A white, microcrystalline powder; melting point, about 95°; bp2012_v5_46_019_[appendix_i_a]_s_revised_texts_ep7-3 [alpha]_20_d.png , about +15 (5% w/v in 1m sodium hydroxide containing 15% w/v of sodium tetraborate).
