Buffer Solution pH 3.7 Ethanolic acetic–ammonia buffer pH 3.7
To 15.0 mL of acetic acid R add 60 mL of ethanol (96 per cent) R and 20 mL of water R. Adjust to pH 3.7 (2.2.3) by the addition of ammonia R. Dilute to 100.0 mL with water R.
