- Appendix I A. General Reagents
Cupri-tartaric Solution |
Solution i Dissolve 34.6 g of copper( ii ) sulphate in sufficient water to produce 500 ml.
Solution ii Dissolve 173 g of potassium sodium (+)-tartrate and 50 g of sodium hydroxide in 400 ml of water, heat to boiling, allow to cool and dilute to 500 ml with freshly boiled and cooled water.
Mix equal volumes of solutions I and II immediately before use.
