Hydrogen Sulphide

Hydrogen Sulphide H2S  =  34.08 (7783-06-4)

Use laboratory cylinder grade of commerce, or prepare the gas by the action of hydrochloric acid, diluted with an equal volume of water, on iron sulphide; wash the resulting gas by passing it through water.

A colourless, poisonous gas.
