Properties: Crystals. d425 1.40. mp 227-228°. uv max (ethanol): 249 nm (e 25,000). Sol in alcohol, ether, dil HCl; partially sol in dimethylformamide. Practically insol in acetone, chloroform, ethyl acetate. Soly in water at 22° 0.06%; at 100° 0.6%.
