Properties: Orthorhombic crystals from water, mp 228.7°. Sublimes with decompn forming CO2 and trinitrobenzene. Soly at 25°: 2.05% (w/w) in water, 26.6% in alcohol, 14.7% in ether. Also sol in acetone, methanol; slightly sol in benzene.
